Howraa Hajaig

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Howraa has been offering ABA services in Canada and the Middle East since 2013. She possesses extensive experience working with children and youth facing various developmental, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. She has worked across public and private schools, as well as in private practices and nurseries. Howraa earned her Psychology degree from Carleton University, she further enhanced her specialized skills with a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioral Science from Algonquin College, followed by a Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Arizona State University. She currently holds the designation of  Board Certified Behavior Analyst.   

Haneen AlMoslam

BCBA Consultant 

Haneen is a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with expertise in behavioral analysis and therapy since 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Education from the American University of Madaba, graduating with honors, and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Bangor University, Wales, graduating with merit. A member of the BACB since 2018, Haneen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice.

Known for her organized and compassionate approach, Haneen takes pride in designing and implementing effective interventions that produce meaningful results. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults, both from the special needs community and neurotypical populations. Her areas of expertise include supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Delays, Speech Difficulties, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Intellectual Disabilities.

Haneen strongly believes: “If the student hasn’t learned, the teacher hasn’t taught!”

Siham Abualfeilat

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Siham Abualfeilat is a pediatric occupational therapist, who graduated among the top 10 in her class with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Jordan. Siham is also a Certified Sensory Integration Therapist accredited by CLASI, approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). This certification allows her to offer specialized support to children facing sensory processing difficulties, along with challenges related to feeding and oral motor skills. With experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, and other developmental delays; she is committed to supporting children as they grow, learn, and achieve milestones that make a difference in their lives. Siham’s motto, “I help little hands do big things!”

Nour Srour

Speech Therapist

Nour is an experienced speech therapist with over six years of practice in Lebanon, Kuwait, and Qatar. She holds a Bachelor’s in Speech Therapy and a Master’s in Neuropsychology from the Lebanese University, where she conducted research at the Neuroscience Research Centre. Nour supervises at the Islamic University of Lebanon, mentoring future therapists. Her certifications include ABAT coursework, Orton-Gillingham literacy intervention, Lidcombe Program for stuttering, and DIR Floortime training.

Specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, stuttering, language disorders, and learning difficulties, Nour empowers families through parent coaching and tailors evidence-based therapies to each client’s needs. Her compassionate, client-centered approach has established her as a trusted professional in the field.

Kareen Yamout

ABA Therapist

Kareen Yamout earned her degree from the University of Central Florida, where she specialized in Clinical Psychology, earning Magna Cum Laude distinction, and becoming a member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society. As a Registered Behavior Technician certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board in the United States, Kareen possesses extensive experience. She has a profound knowledge of behavior management techniques and intervention strategies. Her dedication lies in assisting individuals facing developmental challenges as well as emotional and behavioral issues. Thanks to Kareen’s compassionate demeanor and her approach grounded in research, she delivers high quality care to her clients. Every day, Kareen contributes significantly to enhancing the wellbeing of her clients, making a positive difference in their lives.

SeHAM Abusalem 

Special Needs Teacher

Seham Abusalem is our Special Needs Teacher for the Early Intervention Program at Amali. With over nine years of experience in schools and a degree from Al-Madina International University, Seham is a dedicated educator fluent in both Arabic and English. She specializes in creating individualized learning plans, utilizing effective teaching strategies, and adapting curricula to accommodate the diverse needs of her students. With expertise in managing behavioral challenges, Seham is committed to cultivating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is inspired to grow, succeed, and thrive

rita Bou chebel

Special Educator Trainer Volunteer

Rita Bou Chebel enriches Amali Clinic with her extensive expertise in special education. With over 15 years of experience, she is enhancing her professional skills by working towards ABAT certification to become a Certified Applied Behavioral Technician. Rita, fluent in English, Arabic, and French,holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and has notably led special needs departments across schools in Qatar and Lebanon, in addition to facilitating workshops. She is adept at performing cognitive assessments to improve children’s attention, memory, and processing speed, utilizing recognized tools like CARS, Woodcock-Johnson, and T.O.V.A for in-depth developmental evaluations.
